Happy first (official) week of summer!

Monday June 22

Exercise: Baseball workout

I’ve been missing sports a lot lately! This week we will complete various sports workouts to get out summer sports fill!

Activity: Read part or all of your favorite book today!

Take your reading outside if the weather permits!

June 23rd

Exercise: Basketball workout

Activity: Yummy home made lemonade popsicles!

Ingredients

1/2 cup lemon juice

  • pinch turmeric (for color)
  • 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  • In a large bowl with spout mix together the lemon juice and turmeric.
  • Once combined add in the remaining ingredients and stir until completely mixed.
  • Pour mixture into popsicle mold and then place in sticks.
  • Freeze popsicles for 4+ hours or until frozen solid.

    *If you want it sweeter you can use honey, maple syrup, stevia, or even simple syrup.

Wednesday June 24th

Activity: Protein Energy Bites!

Mix all of your ingredients in a bowl. Then roll into little balls and refrigerate!

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup M&Ms
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Thursday June 25th

Exercise: Tennis workout!

Activity: Butterfly Art!

Friday June 26th

Exercise: Dry land workout for swimmers!!!!

Activity: Sponge Darts!

Saturday and Sunday:

This weekend focus on spending time with family and getting outside as much as possible. You can play tag, throw a frisbee, or go for a long walk! We also encourage you to take 20-30 minutes per day to read new books to keep your creativity going!
