Julie joined Hope in May 2019. She received her Masters degree from UW Whitewater in Community Counseling. Julie has training in Family systems, AODA, Functional Family Therapy, CBT, and Trauma training.

Julie’s Bachelors degree is in Sociology from UW Whitewater. Julie enjoys working with individuals of all ages and is trained in crisis intervention, AMSRA suicide risk training, groups, substance abuse, dual diagnosis groups, career counseling, and multicultural counseling. Julie has worked with individuals, groups, families and couples. She believes in a holistic, strengths-based perspective and teams with clients and client families to generate their goals and step by step plan to achieve them. She is also working on obtaining her Play Therapy certification.
