Katie first joined HOPE in August of 2013 as an intern and worked at the agency until the summer of 2014. She  returned to HOPE in 2019 to take on the position of Wellness Coordinator. Katie is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Illinois. She received a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Western Illinois University and a master’s degree in Community Counseling from National Louis University.

Katie has an extensive amount of experience in the counseling field. In addition to working at HOPE, she is also a school counselor at one of the local schools in the area. Her passion is working with children. She loves finding fun and interactive ways to teach children skills that will help increase their overall well-being.

Katie’s previous counseling experiences includes leadership, community counseling, individual, family, and small group counseling.  She also has a love for workshops and community engagement. Katie is always looking for new and exciting ways to share her love of counseling!
