Eileen Westerman utilizes an integrative counseling approach grounded in psychodynamic, family systems, attachment, and trauma-informed therapeutic interventions to identify and meet the specific needs of every individual with whom she works in order to promote healing, self-growth, and the achievement of their goals. Prior to becoming a mental health counselor, Eileen acquired extensive work history implementing early social, emotional, and behavioral interventions; conducting psychoeducational assessments, and providing short-term personal and success counseling to college students. Her experience includes trauma therapy, early intervention, and research and assessment. Eileen works with individuals of all ages and is currently working towards completing training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and certification in Theraplay.
