Biography:
Grace joined HOPE in September 2013. Grace holds a Master of Science Degree in Clinical Counseling from Rosalind Franklin University of Science and Medicine.
She completed her graduate internship at Arden Shore Child and Family Counseling offering counseling services to all ages. Grace is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois and a National Certified Counselor. She also received her Professional Educator’s Endorsement in School Counseling from Northern Illinois University.
Grace has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has training in Brainspotting, Crisis Intervention, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Play Therapy, Theraplay, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Self Injury and Suicidal Ideation.
Grace offers warmth, compassion, and great insight n her work. Her gentle therapeutic approach is an asset to her work and enables her to compassionately address the mental health needs of children, adolescents, and adults so that they are empowered to live a purpose-driven life.
