Jamie is the owner and Program Director of HOPE – Child and Family Counseling, Inc. Jamie holds a Masters of Arts Degree in Counseling/Marriage and Family Therapy, her license in Clinical Professional Counseling from Illinois, her license in Professional Counseling from Wisconsin, a Registration in Play Therapy and Supervision through the National Association of Play Therapy, her endorsement in School Counseling/Type 73 from the state of Illinois and her Early Intervention Credential in Counseling and Assessment.

Her post masters professional experiences have included services/employment at various agencies as a Child and Family Counselor. She also has an extensive work history in early education, early intervention, research and assessment, therapeutic interventions and practices in psychotherapy and in program development. Her career history prior to becoming a psychotherapist included: early education, direct services for an elementary educational system for children with physical and emotional disabilities, developing and directing an early educational center and as family service coordinator/researcher for the Transition and Head Start National Study. Her involvement with the Transition study included developing, implementing and evaluating Head Start like services in grades K – 3 in Central Wisconsin. Prior to starting her own practice, Jamie served as a Mental Health Therapist and Program Director for the counseling program at Easter Seals Children’s Development Center in Rockford, IL. Jamie has been zealous about providing therapeutic services that are developmentally appropriate for all ages.
Jamie also provides clinical supervision to graduate level interns and post graduate interns for licensure and registration in play therapy.
