Maureen has completed training to become an Adoption Competent Therapist to further her work with children and families. She has extensive training in Adlerian Play therapy methods and recently became the first Certified Adlerian Play Therapist in the states of Illinois and Wisconsin. Maureen uses this approach with children and families alike as she approaches all interactions with the question of “What is the purpose of the behavior?” She believes in a strength-based approach that is guided by the individual needs of the client.

Maureen enjoys spending time with her husband, adult children, two dogs, and parrot (she dances and enjoys 80’s music the best). Maureen also enjoys traveling and loves photography as a hobby.
