Stacy joined HOPE in September of 2016. Stacy is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Wisconsin and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Child Psychology at the University of Minnesota and went on to earn her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a concentration on children and adolescents, at the University of Wisconsin - Stout. She also completed a certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota. Stacy has extensive experience working with children, adults, families, and couples along with being well versed in a wide range of client concerns. She has been employed in a variety of settings, including: residential treatment centers, outpatient clinics, hospitals, and private practice. Stacy has been trained in various therapeutic techniques used to assist her clients in gaining the tools necessary for conquering life’s challenges. She is extremely compassionate, caring, and understanding. Her ability to connect with others helps create a safe environment conducive to enhancing personal growth, strengthening relationships, and meeting individual needs. She has experience working in several states, including: Wisconsin, Minnesota, New York, and Connecticut. She is extremely excited to make her permanent home in Illinois!
