Taylor holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois and a Bachelors Degree in Human Services from Judson University. Taylor began her career working in Early Intervention and also providing in home services to children and families within the Rockford School District. Taylor then transitioned to health care social work for UW and Swedish American providing case management, advocacy, community education, and patient support. She is excited to join the team at HOPE and continue to grow as a counselor as she pursues her clinical licensure. Taylor has experience working with children, individuals and families. She welcomes all individuals and approaches counseling from a holistic perspective which allows for a big picture perspective. Taylor provides a safe, welcoming environment and values the relationship between counselor and client. She sees herself as a life-long learner and recognizes that we all have opportunity for growth.
Taylor lives with her husband, two boys and yorkie/schnauzer mix dog. Taylor enjoys being outside with her boys, cooking, listening to music and Podcasts and spending quality time with family and friends. She loves the Midwest, but loves the ocean and traveling to new places.
