Allison received both her Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders and a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northern Illinois University in Communicative Disorders. She completed her Clinical Fellowship at the Children’s Development Center in Rockford, Illinois.

She holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence through the national governing board, The American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She has continued expanding her knowledge base including additional coursework required for the Illinois State Board of Education’s Type-73 certificate.

She has worked in various settings including a Pediatric Clinic, public preschool special education, and private practice.

Allison’s greatest passion is helping families and their children communicate in real, meaningful ways. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of speech, language and feeding disorders in the birth through seven population with a special interest in children that are medically and physically complex.
